Portraits of Being . . .

This is not the typical post for me, but my camera is being its glitchy self again and I have not been able to even take a photograph, much less print anything in months. So, I raided what is left of my previous prints to find anything I have not yet shared. Go figure, my self-portraits were glaring at me, an obvious subject of avoidance to a person like me. I suppose it is about time to just get over it an expose myself a little. I really did find an unexpected joy in taking my own portraits, even though I cannot stand posing for someone else. In that spirit, I guess that is why they are posted here today. It’s nothing great, but I just couldn’t leave the site post-less for any longer, even if I am the only one who ever sees it.

It was a liberating experience to pose for my own camera. If you have never done it before, I highly recommend it, especially if you are an introvert like myself.
